An important stage in your prenatal screening is your NIPT test.
NIPT stands for Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing, meaning a simple method of prenatal testing, literally non-invasive, a standard blood test allows us to determine your likelihood of any common genetic conditions.
If you have any questions regarding your NIPT test, please get in touch with our staff, they will be happy to answer any questions you have.
At Swell, nest is our preferred non-invasive early screening test, you can compare nest with other NIPT’s in the following table:

‘No’ results rate The test failure rate represents how frequently a sample is unable to be reported on. | 0.1%*1 |
Includes fetal fraction This is the amount of cell-free DNA in the maternal blood that is of fetal origin. The fetal DNA is fragmented and makes its way into the bloodstream of the mother via shedding of the placental microparticles into the main bloodstream.
